Who is Friends with Dignity?
Friends with Dignity is a national, volunteer-driven not-for-profit organisation supporting victim-survivors of domestic and family violence. Through our Sanctuary Program, we transform empty houses into fully furnished, welcoming homes where families can rebuild their lives after escaping domestic and family violence. Beyond housing, we deliver initiatives such as the Little Friends Scholarships, Urgent Requests, and seasonal drives to support children and families as they heal and start anew. We operate across Australia in collaboration with communities, schools, businesses, and corporate partners. Our vision is to ease the impact of domestic and family violence—regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality—by restoring dignity, safety, and a sense of belonging. Because everyone deserves a fresh start.
