This might be my favourite piece I've ever designed

Okay you know I don't believe in releasing products just for the sake of something new. Every piece has to earn its place. It has to solve a problem, become something you'll genuinely reach for, and still be in your wardrobe years from now.

That's exactly why we've spent months developing our very first Oversized Bamboo Cotton Tee.

Launching later this month as part of our new Espresso Collection, this is a piece I've quietly been wearing almost every single day for the last three months while we perfected every little detail. And honestly... I don't really want to take it off.

I designed this because I could never find the perfect throw-on tee. I wanted something I could pull on over my sports bra after Pilates, throw over leggings for a gym session, wear to yoga, train in if I felt like it, style with denim shorts for a coffee run, tuck into jeans for dinner, wear travelling, lounge around the house in... and yes, I've even slept in it more than once because it's just that comfortable.

I wanted one piece that worked all year round. One tee that could do everything. The fit was where we started.

It's oversized without feeling bulky, giving you that relaxed look while still draping beautifully over your body. We designed a soft V neckline that gives you options. Wear it as a classic V-neck or pull it slightly off one shoulder depending on how you like to style it.

Personally, I usually wear mine just slightly off-centre with our High Impact Bra underneath. It gives that effortless look without feeling too exposed.

Around the hips, we added subtle side splits so the fabric falls naturally instead of clinging. That little detail means you can leave it loose, do a casual half tuck into denim, or tuck it in fully if you want to accentuate your waist.

It's amazing how much difference those small details make.

Then came the fabric. This was the part I refused to compromise on.

We landed on a premium blend of 65% bamboo, 28% cotton and 7% spandex because I wanted to create a fabric that genuinely feels different the moment you put it on.

The bamboo gives it an incredibly soft, breathable feel with a naturally cooling sensation against your skin. The cotton adds durability and structure, while the 7% spandex gives it the stretch to move with you while helping it maintain its shape wear after wear.

If you have sensitive skin like I do, you'll understand why this mattered so much. I have mild rosacea and naturally sensitive skin, so I'm incredibly conscious of the fabrics I wear every day. I wanted something that felt gentle, breathable and comfortable enough to wear from morning until night without feeling irritated or overheated.

Our fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified, meaning it's been independently tested for harmful substances, giving me confidence that it's as kind to your skin as it is comfortable to wear.

The bamboo fibres are produced using a closed-loop manufacturing process, where water and processing materials are continuously recycled throughout production rather than discarded. It's a more thoughtful way to create exceptionally soft fabrics while reducing environmental impact.

The finished fabric is everything I'd hoped it would be. It's lightweight without feeling flimsy, beautifully breathable, naturally cooling on your skin, dries incredibly quickly and has minimal creasing, making it just as perfect for travelling as it is for everyday life.

To keep it looking and feeling its best, we recommend washing it in cold water and allowing it to air dry. This helps protect the bamboo fibres and preserve the 7% spandex, ensuring it continues to feel beautifully soft, stretchy and comfortable for years to come.

Perhaps the thing I'm proudest of is how well it's lasted. I've been wearing my very first sample for over three months now. It's been washed more times than I can count. It's been through Pilates classes, gym sessions, flights, weekends away, work days, coffee runs, lazy Sundays and everything in between.

And despite all of that... There still isn't a single sign of pilling. That's always my biggest test. If it can't survive my life, it doesn't deserve a place in yours.

When it came to colours, I wanted timeless shades that would become wardrobe staples rather than seasonal trends. So we've launched it in three colours that I know you'll wear over and over again:

• Classic Black
• Vanilla White
• Mauve Pink

Whether you're wearing activewear, denim shorts, your favourite jeans or simply relaxing at home, these colours were chosen to work effortlessly with the rest of your wardrobe.

If I'm completely honest... This might be my favourite piece I've ever designed. Not because it's the most technical or the most complex, but because it's become the piece I reach for more than anything else in my wardrobe.

It's the tee hanging over the chair because I wore it yesterday and I'm probably wearing it again today. It's the one I throw in my suitcase without thinking. The one I grab after Pilates, before a coffee run, to the gym, on a flight, for a walk, lounging around the house or even to bed.

When I catch myself reaching for the same piece over and over again, I know we've created something special. I truly hope this becomes that piece for you too.
