A little July wrap-up

I can’t believe July is already over. What a month.

July brought our biggest launch ever, a trip to China, a few unexpected challenges behind the scenes and so many moments that reminded me just how grateful I am for this community.

If you’ve been following along, you’ll know that Espresso was originally meant to launch a little earlier. We ran into some unexpected delays behind the scenes, and while it wasn’t the timeline I had planned, looking back now, everything happened exactly when it was meant to.

Because when Espresso finally launched, the response was bigger than anything I could have imagined.

I knew you would love this collection. I just didn’t expect quite how much.

This has been our biggest collection ever and, without a doubt, the biggest response we’ve ever had at DTL.

For every order, every message, every tag, every kind word and every bit of support you’ve shown this collection. It truly means more than you know.

Espresso also marked something really special for DTL. It was the first step towards creating more than just activewear.

Of course, you’ll always see bras and leggings from us, but I wanted this collection to feel bigger than that. Pieces you could wear to train in, travel in, run errands in, grab coffee in and live your everyday life in. Seeing how much you’ve embraced that vision has been incredibly rewarding.

While all of this was happening, I was in China. To be completely honest, I was a little nervous about being away during our biggest launch ever. But if there’s one thing this month reminded me of, it’s how lucky I am to have such an incredible team around me. They absolutely stepped up and handled everything so beautifully.
